Phillips' son in law was Army specialist David Schaefer, from Belleville, who was killed in an IED attack in Baghdad on May, 15, 2009. {quote}I was surprised to see this.  I didn't know they were going to have this here.  I'm very glad to see it.{quote} said Phillips who was also wearing Schaefer's jacket.  Laury is a member of the Missouri Air National Guard.
