Tuesday May 3, 2011--Water runs around a farm in the Birds Point-New Madrid floodway after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers created a breach in the levee with explosives on Monday night. By Tuesday morning, the river was at 60.62 feet in Cairo and was expected to keep falling to 59.4 feet by Saturday.David Carson dcarson@post-dispatch.com
